And because much of our time is dedicated to the environment, here are some of the measures we have taken in Alpine Summer Camp facilities: we've reduced by 80% the lighting at Alpine Summer Camp, changing all light bulbs to energy saving light bulbs, corresponding only to 682Watts!

 
Use the general schedule of events, meetings and others, in order to provide the pooling of transport. Expected savings per year: about 4000 km!

 
We have reduced in approximately 50% the electricity for heating;

 

Sorting of waste, and implementation of a combustion system for organic waste. The whole separation of waste is done in Zuckerschopf, a pavilion that is the center of Kandersteg recycling;


Curiosities: all the energy in Kandersteg is produced by LWK, a series of hydroelectric plants that produce electricity through the power of water from the melting of the high mountains.
